H&M Skincare Review

Over the pass year or so high street clothing brands introduced their own skincare / makeup lines. You can walk into primark, new look, H&M and they well be selling make up and skincare products for sure. However there is something weird about buying skincare from these clothing stores. It’s like buying paint from a butcher. Weird right?  I walked into H&M for some jewellery and thought why not try some skincare products too and let’s just get into this review …..  Shower oil –> £4.99 Why didn’t anyone tell me about this amazingness before? It is literally an oil that lathers up as soon as you add water. This is perfect if you have dry skin as normal shower gels can be too dry. The only downside is the price. £5 for a shower gel this small is asking for too much.  Body scrub –> £7.99 I’m not a fan of body scrubs personally and this product didn’t help much. It does smell amazing but I don’t think it scrubbed or cleaned my skin. …

July Skin Care Wish List

With pay day around the corner I have already thought about what skincare products I would like to try next. Some of these products are super pricey for me but they would totally be worth it! Here are the top products / brands on my wish list. Clinique Sonic cleansing system –> £79.00 I have been wanting this brush for so long but the price is so painful to my heart! I even ordered a similar brush from eBay for less then £15 which was really good so I can only imagine what the Clinique version is like. Plus it comes with free skincare products so it’s a yes from me. Herbivore Botinacals Dry Skin Kit –> £111.60 I like that their products are all natural and plant based. I’ve been wanting to add the pink clay soap but i have the whole kit will give better results. The only dislike is their pricing strategy, I mean why £111.60? It could have just been £110 or £112. Dr Hauschka skincare –> from £25 upwards Any …

How To Reduce Body Odor This Summer

You can’t have summer without sweat unfortunately, they come as a package. The bad part is the build up of sweat can cause a bad body odour. Using deodorant alone can’t help you stop the smell of Body Odour in 30•c plus heat over the summer months even with all the promises these companies make. Here are a few tips to help you reduce bad body odour as much as possible and leave you feeling confident! Shaving your armpits Simply put, hair can obsorb and spread bacteria which creates body odour so it important to keep your armpits hair free throughout the year especially during the summer time. Lemon rub This is a trick that my mum showed me during my teenage years. Take a lemon, cut in half and rub in your underarms and leave in for about 5 minutes. Do this before you take a shower in the morning and at night. It reduces the PH levels in your underams making it hard for bacteria to grow therefore stopping (reducing) body odour. You …

Morning skin care routine

I never used to have a skincare routine until the start of this year. I used to just wash my face with whatever shower gel I was using at the time ( which varied depending on whatever was on sale), apply my makeup and go then wipe my make up off using a couple of wipes before bed. I never got acne but my skin became extremely dry, flaky and I had a lot of what looked like sweat rashes all over my face. I ended up wearing makeup every day to cover up how bad my skin worse which made it even worse, terrible cycle. It was time to break this cycle so I stopped wearing makeup every day, drank lots of water and started a morning and evening skincare routine. This morning routine takes 15-20 minutes so perfect for all the mummies or ladies rushing off to work/school or the boss queens that do both (like me! Woop woop!!)  Deep Cleansing Face mask –> £17.50     I apply this to my face as …
