All these face masks are natural and super easy to do so go ahead and try it!

Mint and Cucumber Face Mask

Mint not only good for your detox water, it also has great benefits for your skin. Mint is known for its anti-inflammatory properties so it helps cool, sooth and cleanse your skin. This is what makes it perfect for summer. As we all know cucumber is over 90% water, so combined with the mint will leave your skin hydrated and cool.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of Mint leaves
  • 1/4 cup of Cucumber

Directions: Blend the Mint and cucumber together into a paste and apply to your face using a flat make up brush (if you have one). Leave it for 30 mins and wash it off using lukewarm water. Here is what the mixture should look like:

EGG Face Mask

This is by far my favourite D.I.Y simply because it reminds me of primary/ secondary school, it is so fun to do and super cheap. On a serious note, egg whites are packed with protein, potassium, magnesium and many more. It can help hydrate, plump and rejuvenate your skin. Using this mask regularly can make radiant and bright.

Ingredients

  • Egg (just the white)
  • Kitchen towel
  • Flat make up brush (it is not an ingredient but you will need it)

Directions: Separate the egg white from the yolk and throw and Mix the egg white for 30 seconds, then tear the kitchen towel into pieces. Dip the brush into the egg white, apply to a part of your face then add the piece of kitchen towel. Repeat until your whole is covered with the towel and it actual looks like a mask. Leave until dry, remove and wash your face with usual cleanser. If i didn’t explain that properly, it should look something like this:

Tomato, Oatmeal and Honey face mask

Now i have to give credit to blackdoctor.org for sharing this face mask recipe. Tomatoes contain lycopene which can protect your skin against sun rays, allows your skin to take in more oxygen which delays aging. Oatmeal also has amazing benefits for the skin helps moisturize and exfoliate the skin and Honey will add the perfect glow!

Ingredients

  • Tomatoes
  • Oatmeal
  • Honey

Directions: Place 1 ripe tomato, 1 tsp instant oatmeal (or rolled oats) into blender and blend. Add a tsp of honey into the mixture and mix. If the mixture is top runny please add more blended oats, you want it into a paste. Leave on for 20 mins then wash off with lukewarm water.

Please always moisturize after using a face mask, it is extremely important. Also using a good face oil will give your skin an extra glow! Now that you have the perfect summer glow, summer 2017 is yours to slay… kill it queen!
